
Yle, the Finnish national broadcaster, have revealed the date for UMK 2026 – their national selection for the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest.
Yle have revealed that UMK 2026 will take place on Saturday 28th February. For a third year in the row, UMK will take place at the Nokia Arena, in Tampere. Maiju Viiki, Project Manager of the Experience Economy at the City of Tampere, had the following to say:
“UMK plays a significant role in the Finnish music scene. We are very happy to have the contest in our city again, as the city will invest in the development of the conditions for the local music industry in the coming years.”
