
This year at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel, we will be looking back at Switzerland since their first participation. Today we begin with 2007.
2007 – “Vampires Are Alive”
In 2007, when the Contest was held in Helsinki, Finland, DJ BoBo represented Switzerland with “Vampires Are Alive”. DJ BoBo finished in 20th place (Semi) and 40 points.
2008 – “Era stupendo”
In 2008, when the Contest was held in Belgrade, Serbia, Paolo Meneguzzi represented Switzerland with “If We All Give a Little”. Paolo finished in 13th place (Semi) and 47 points.
2009 – “The Highest Heights”
In 2009, when the Contest was held in Moscow, Russia, Lovebugs represented Switzerland with “The Highest Heights”. Lovebugs finished in 14th place (Semi) and 15 points.
2010 – “Il pleut de l’or”
In 2010, when the Contest was held in Oslo, Norway, Michael von der Heide represented Switzerland with “Il pleut de l’or”. Michael finished in 17th place and 2 points.
2011 – “In Love for a While”
In 2011, when the Contest was held in Dusseldorf, Germany, Anna Rossinelli represented Switzerland with “In Love for a While”. Anna finished in 25th place and 19 points.
2012 – “Unbreakable”
In 2012, when the Contest was held in Baku, Azerbaijan, Sinplus represented Switzerland with “Unbreakable”. Sinplus finished in 11th place (Semi) and 45 points.
