This year at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel, we will be looking back at Switzerland since their first participation. Today we begin with 1998.

1998 – “Lass ihn”

In 1998, when the Contest was held in Birmingham, the United Kingdom, Gunvor represented Switzerland with “Lass ihn”. Gunvor finished in 25th place and 0 points.

2000 – “La vita cos’è?”

In 2000, when the Contest was held in Stockholm, Sweden, Jane Bogaert represented Switzerland with “La vita cos’è?”. Jane finished in 20th place and 14 points.

2002 – “Dans le jardin de mon âme”

In 2002, when the Contest was held in Tallinn, Estonia, Francine Jordi represented Switzerland with “Dans le jardin de mon âme”. Francine finished in 22nd place and 15 points.

2004 – “Celebrate”

In 2004, when the Contest was held in Istanbul, Turkey, Piero & the MusicStars represented Switzerland with “Celebrate”. Piero finished in 22nd place (Semi) and 0 points.

2005 – “Cool Vibes”

In 2005, when the Contest was held in Kyiv, Ukraine, Vanilla Ninja represented Switzerland with “Cool Vibes”. Vanilla Ninja finished in 8th place and 128 points.

2006 – “If We All Give a Little”

In 2006, when the Contest was held in Athens, Greece, six4one represented Switzerland with “If We All Give a Little”. six4one finished in 16th place and 30 points.
