
This year at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel, we will be looking back at Switzerland since their first participation. Today we begin with 1967.
1967 – “Quel coeur vas-tu briser?”
In 1967, when the Contest was held in Vienna, Austria, Géraldine represented Switzerland with “Quel coeur vas-tu briser?”. Géraldine finished in 17th place and 0 points.
1968 – “Guardando il sole”
In 1968, when the Contest was held in London, the United Kingdom, Gianni Mascolo represented Switzerland with “Guardando il sole”. Gianni finished in 13th place and 2 points.
1969 – “Bonjour, bonjour”
In 1969, when the Contest was held in Madrid, Spain, Paola represented Switzerland with “Bonjour, bonjour”. Paola finished in 5th place and 13 points.
1970 – “Retour”
In 1970, when the Contest was held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Henri Dès represented Switzerland with “Retour”. Henri finished in 4th place and 8 points.
1971 – “Les Illusions de nos vingt ans”
In 1971, when the Contest was held in Dublin, Ireland, Peter, Sue & Marc represented Switzerland with “Les Illusions de nos vingt ans”. Peter, Sue & Marc finished in 12th place and 78 points.
1972 – “C’est la chanson de mon amour”
In 1972, when the Contest was held in Edinburgh, the United Kingdom, Véronique Müller represented Switzerland with “C’est la chanson de mon amour”. Véronique finished in 8th place and 88 points.
