🇮🇪 #IRELAND: 60 Years At Eurovision – Part 9/10

This year at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel, Ireland will be marking 60 years since their first participation. Today we continue with 2015.

2015 – “Playing with Numbers”

In 2015, when the Contest was held in Vienna, Austria, Molly Sterling represented Ireland with “Playing with Numbers”. Molly finished in 12th (Semi NQ) place and 35 points.

2016 – “Sunlight”

In 2016, when the Contest was held in Stockholm, Sweden, Nicky Byrne represented Ireland with “Sunlight”. Nicky finished in 15th (Semi NQ) place and 46 points.

2017 – “Dying to Try”

In 2017, when the Contest was held in Kyiv, Ukraine, Brendan Murray represented Ireland with “Dying to Try”. Brendan finished in 13th (Semi NQ) place and 86 points.

2018 – “Together”

In 2018, when the Contest was held in Lisbon, Portugal, Ryan O’Shaughnessy represented Ireland with “Together”. Ryan finished in 16th place and 136 points.

2019 – “22”

In 2019, when the Contest was held in Tel Aviv, Israel, Sarah McTernan represented Ireland with “22”. Sarah finished in 18th (Semi NQ) place and 16 points.

2020 – “Story of My Life”

In 2020, when the Contest was due to be held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, Lesley Roy was due to represent Ireland with “Story of My Life”. The Contest was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
