The Regio Songfestival organising committee, have announced the rules for the third edition of the Contest, which will be taking place in Arnhem, in November.

The rules for 2025 are:

• All of the entries competing in the Regio Songfestival 2025 must be announced by September 29th.
• As soon as a song has been officially announced as an entry by the relevant broadcaster, it must be made available on relevant streaming platforms.
• Acts must be at least 16 years old and songs must be original.
• Competitors cannot have featured in the Dutch Top 40 previously.
