
The EBU, the European Broadcasting Union, have today announced the pots for the allocation draw, for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel.
The Semi Final Allocation Draw will feature five pots – one with seven countries and four with six countries. Countries are organised into certain pots based on their historical voting patterns, dispersing nations that traditionally support each other. The pots are:
- Pot 1 – Belgium, Czechia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg & the Netherlands
- Pot 2 – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Israel, Poland & Ukraine
- Pot 3 – Albania, Austria, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia & Slovenia
- Pot 4 – Cyprus, Greece, Ireland, Malta, Portugal & San Marino
- Pot 5 – Australia, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway & Sweden
Another draw will take place featuring France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland & the United Kingdom. This draw will determine which Semi Final they will give a preview performance, as well as vote in.
