The University of Basel will introduce public lectures, ahead of the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel.

The University of Basel will introduce “Cultural studies perspectives on the Eurovision Song Contest” as part of the Spring semester 2025 and will be delivered by Alain Müller & Eberhard Wolff, professors of cultural anthropology. The course will include topics such as current research, pop music research, queerness, eventisation and competitiveness.
