LTV, the Latvian national broadcaster, have launched ‘Supernova: Izaicinājums’ ahead of Supernova 2025 – their national selection for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel.

LTV have launched ‘Supernova: Izaicinājums’, an introductory to Supernova 2025. Episodes will be released every Thursday, during January on YouTube & will be televised on LTV1 on yet-to-be-confirmed dates during February. Ēvalds Dukuls, the Creator of ‘Supernova: Izaicinājums’, had the following to say:

“At the end of November, the idea came up that we could combine some kind of tasks and quiz questions to test both knowledge and have interviews, so that we could get to know the participants more deeply and also the tasks, challenges where they would need to sing. Hold their voice, their breath. And at the same time, avoid the so-called LED red lines.”
