Here at Eurovision Ireland, we are taking a historical look back on our favourite Contests past and present, on the very day they took place. Today it’s November 30th:

Saturday 30th November 2013

On this day in 2013, the 11th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place in Kyiv, Ukraine. San Marino debuted, while Malta & North Macedonia returned. Albania, Belgium & Israel all withdrew. Malta took victory with Gaia Cauchi performing “The Start” and 130 points.
