Mongolia are likely to host the 2025 ABU TV Song Festival, following the ABU General Assembly was awarded to the country. Since 2012, the ABU TV Song Festival has been held in the same host city as the ABU General Assembly.

Should Mongolia take on the hosting duties for the Festival, it will mark their debut. Mongolia has signed up to participate on a number of occasions but has withdrawn before the event has taken place. 2025 is likely to see changes to the Festival, with the inclusion of radio members following DISCUSSIONS last month, following the 2024 Festival.
