The new Eurovision season is now on us and during the build up to National Final Season and the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, we at Eurovision Ireland felt it would be timely to continue with our Here Today, Gone Tomorrow series , where we look at past Eurovision performers and where they are and what they are doing now . As Switzerland are our host country for 2025, we have decided to focus this series entirely on the past Swiss performers at Eurovision .
Today , we are focusing on more recent Swiss performers, ZiBBZ , who represented Switzerland at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon,Portugal with the song “Stones”.
Who are Zibbz?
ZiBBZ are a brother and sister duo , Stefan ( Stee)and Corinne ( Coco) Gfeller , who specialise in Indie-pop music . They got their name from the English word “siblings ” ( brothers and sisters) . Coco and Stee .They started working together as a music duo back in 2008. Between 2011 and 2015, they had their own reality show, broadcast on the Joiz channel on Swiss TV. They spent time between Los Angeles and Switzerland. They released their first Album, “Ready? Go!” in 2013 , reaching 14th in the Swiss Album charts.Their second album in 2017 was more successful, reaching 11th .
Zibbz at Eurovision
In 2018, ZiBBZ took part in the Die Entsheidung show, the show used then to select the Swiss act for the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon, Portugal and won the right to represent their country with the song “Stones”. They took part in Semi Final 1 in Lisbon and although coming 13th with 86 points, this was not enough to qualify them for the Grand Final .
After Eurovision
After Eurovision , ZiBBZ went on to produce two more singles ; “Rich ” in 2018 , “City Lights” and “You and me against the World” in 2019 . They have not produced anything new since . Could they appear as guests at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest in their home country?
