The BBC Strictly Come Dancing series 2024 edition started last night . As we have done over the last years, this year we will continue to look for any connections to Eurovision throughout the series.

Last night got off to a good start when the Strictly Come Dancing professional dancers opened the show with a Spanish themed scenario , dancing to a medley of songs including Chanel’s Slo Mo from Eurovision 2022. . The Mama’s “Move” from the cancelled Eurovision 2020 series also featured in one of the rehearsal clips with the professional dancers and their celebrity partner. .
