🇮🇹 #ITALY: Sanremo 2025 Rules & Nightly Details Revealed

Rai, the Italian national broadcaster, have revealed the 2025 Festival di Sanremo rules and night-by-night details.

RAI have published the new RULES & REGULATIONS for the 75th Edition of the Festival di Sanremo – following the ANNOUNCEMENT of its revised dates. Also, on nights two and three, four “Nuove Proposte” will present their songs to the public. One artist per night will advance to the final, on night four, where a jury composed by televote (34%), journalists (33%) and radio broadcasters (33%) will determine the winner of the “Nuove Proposte” category.

Night One – Tuesday 11th February

All 24 competing artists will perform their songs. Only a jury will have a chance to vote during night one, with Rai announcing the top 5, in a random order.

Night Two – Wednesday 12th February

The first 12 competing artists will perform their songs again. A 50% jury & 50% public vote will take place during night two, with Rai announcing the top 5, in a random order.

Night Three – Thursday 13th February

The final 12 competing artists will perform their songs again. A 50% jury & 50% public vote will take place during night three, with Rai announcing the top 5, in a random order.

Night Four – Friday 14th February

All 24 competing artists will perform cover songs – with the opportunity to be joined by another artist. A 34% public vote, 33% journalist jury vote & 33% radio broadcaster jury will take place during night four, with Rai announcing a standalone winner for the evening.

Night Five – Saturday 15th February

All 24 competing artists will perform their songs again. Only a public vote will have to decide who performs again – taking into account the results of the first three nights. After the top 5 have performed again, a 34% public vote, 33% journalist jury vote & 33% radio broadcaster jury will decide the winner of Sanremo 2025.
