RTBF, the Belgian national broadcaster, have confirmed that they will not be participating at the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Madrid.

VRT had been CONSIDERING a to return to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year, however financial and time issues are preventing participation for this year, at least. VRT last participated in the Contest in 2012, while RTBF last participated in the Contest in 2006.
