
It’s June and it’s Pride month. Here at Eurovision Ireland, we are going to highlight some of the LGBTQ+ artists to have participated in the Eurovision Song Contest.
For June 28th, we are continuing with Mustii. He represented Belgium with “Before the Party’s Over”, taking 13th place in the semi final, with 18 points.. Mustii is Queer. You can watch his performance of “Before the Party’s Over” below:
Queer is a term used by those wanting to reject specific labels of romantic orientation, sexual orientation and/or gender identity. It can also be a way of rejecting the perceived norms of the LGBT community (racism, sizeism, ableism etc).
