Following on from this week’s ANNOUNCEMENT of the first six participating countries alongside Russia, the 2024 Intervision Song Contest in Moscow has now been delayed until 2025.

Mikhail Shvydkoy, the special representative of the Russian President for International Cultural Cooperation, had the following to say:

“We hope that it will happen at the beginning of next year. We will clarify all the details of cooperation between national television and radio companies with colleagues in Moscow. Beginning of 2025, it will be Moscow.”
