GPB, the Georgian national broadcaster, have continued broadcasting the 2024 season of Ranina – the usual national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. While Ranina has commenced, GPB have yet to announce participation at the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Spain.
On Saturday night, the first week of Round Two take place. The Acts were singing alongside pianist Giorgi Gigashvili. The results were:
- 120 points – Mate Martiashvili, Barbara Morgoshia, Marta Nozadze, Andria Putkaradze & Giorgi Shashviashvili
Following the conclusion of Round Two, week one, this is how the leaderboard of Ranina 2024 looks:
- 237 points – Andria Putkaradze
- 236 points – Barbara Morgoshia
- 234 points – Mate Martiashvili & Marta Nozadze
- 233 points – Giorgi Shashviashvili
- 120 points – Andria Mishvelidze
- 119 points – Anastasia Iremadze
- 118 points – Sandro Ashotia & Sandro Gurgenadze
- 113 points – Ia Lichel
Following the second week of Round Two, there will be a further two rounds before the Semi Final and the Grand Final.
