RTVE, the Spanish national broadcaster, have announced a new language commentary, ahead of the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest, in Malmo.

For the first time, RTVE will be providing a Catalan commentary for the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest, on La 1 and Ràdio 4. Catalan commentary was last heard at the Contest in 2009, when Andorra last participated.

RTVE Catalunya will also broadcast the documentary “Catalunya, 12 punts (Catalonia, 12 points)” – looking at Catalan performers that have previously represented Spain at the Contest, most recently Miki Núñez in 2019.
