Electric Fields with the song ” One Milkali ( One blood ) “.

Those of you familiar with the “Australia Decides” national selection format , used by Australia to select their entry in 2019,2020 and 2022, will recall Electric Fields participating in the 2019 edition with their song “2000 and whatever” , finishing in second place behind Kate Miller -Heidke . They are an electronic music duo with Zachariaha Fielding and Michael Ross, with Fielding of Aboriginal Australian origin . Their song for Eurovision this year will be sung partly in Yankunytjatjara , which is an Aboriginal language of the Anangu peoples. Electric Fields have commented on their participation and said :

“We are buzzed with euphoria at our chance to share this music with the world.Our music comes from the deepest place in both of us and Eurovision is the most exciting opportunity to bring together our cultures and share the joy of our global connection”
