The second semi final of Songvakeppnin, Iceland’s National selection process to find their act for this year’s Eurovision song contest in Malmo, Sweden, has just taken place. Five acts battled for the coveted spots in the Grand Final and the lucky acts are :

Hera Björk – “Við förum hærra –qualified through public vote

Bashar Murad –“Vestrið villt”-Qualified through public vote .

Sigga Ózk – “Um allan alheiminn” -Qualified as the RUV producers choice for a fifth spot in the Grand Final

Congratulations to the chosen acts who join Semi Final 1 qualifiers Vaeb and Anita in the Final next week.. The Grand Final of Songvakeppnin 2024 , will take place on Saturday 2nd March in Reykjavik .
