This week, we are continuing to celebrate the Top 25 Scoring Danish Entries Since 1975 after Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2024. Today, we take a look at positions 10 to 6.
10: 1984 – Hot Eyes, “Det’ lige det”
Hot Eyes represented Denmark at the 1984 Contest in Luxembourg City. Hot Eyes scored 101 points with the song “Det’ lige det’?”, finishing in 4th place.
9: 1989 – Birthe Kjær, “Vi maler byen rød”
Birthe Kjær represented Denmark at the 1989 Contest in Lausanne. Birthe scored 111 points with the song “Vi maler byen rød?”, finishing in 3rd place.
8: 2019 – Leonora, “Love is Forever”
Leonora represented Denmark at the 2019 Contest in Tel Aviv. Leonora scored 120 points with the song “Love is Forever”, finishing in 12th place.
7: 2005 – Jakob Sveistrup, “Talking to You”
Jakob Sveistrup represented Denmark at the 2005 Contest in Kyiv. Jakob scored 125 points with the song “Talking to You”, finishing in 9th place.
6: 2011 – A Friend in London, “New Tomorrow”
A Friend in London represented Denmark at the 2011 Contest in Dusseldorf. A Friend in London scored 134 points with the song “New Tomorrow”, finishing in 5th place.
