
Welcome to our new ‘Top of the Pops’ charts – with a Eurovision twist! On a regular basis, we will bring you a new chart with a Eurovision theme. This week, we are celebrating the Top 25 Scoring Swedish Entries Since 1975 ahead of Melodifestivalen 2024. Today, we take a look at positions 25 to 21.
25: 2000 – Roger Pontare, “When Spirits Are Calling My Name”
Roger Pontare represented Sweden at the 2000 Contest in Stockholm. Roger scored 88 points with the song “When Spirits Are Calling My Name”, finishing in 7th place.
24: 1993 – Arvingarna, “Eloise”
Arvingarna represented Sweden at the 1993 Contest in Millstreet. Arvingarna scored 89 points with the song “Eloise”, finishing in 7th place.
23: 2001 – Friends, “Listen to Your Heartbeat”
Friends represented Sweden at the 2001 Contest in Copenhagen. Friends scored 100 points with the song “Listen to Your Heartbeat”, finishing in 5th place.
22: 1996 – One More Time, “Den vilda”
One More Time represented Sweden at the 1996 Contest in Oslo. One More Time scored 100 points with the song “Den vilda”, finishing in 3rd place.
21: 1995 – Jan Johansen, “Se på mig”
Jan Johansen represented Sweden at the 1995 Contest in Dublin. Jan scored 100 points with the song “Se på mig”, finishing in 3rd place. Jan Johansen features in 21st place after getting 3 sets of twelve points compared to One More Time’s 1 and Friends 0.
