It’s that time of year again! Ireland is getting ready to choose their representative for the 68th Eurovision Song Contest, coming to us live from Malmö, Sweden in May!
Six acts are competing for that ticket to Sweden, all hoping to be Ireland’s next Eurovision contestant. They are:
Ailsha - “Go Tobann”
Bambie Thug – “Doomsday Blue”
Erica-Cody – “Love Me Like I Do”
Isabella Kearney – “Let Me Be The Fire”
JyellowL – “Judas”
Next In Line – “Love Like Us”
But what do the Eurovision Ireland team think? Bogdan, James, John, Richard and Sarah give your their thoughts on this year’s line up – and a certain little mouse, the incorrigible Staggy, is sure to make an appearance or two as well!
Check out what they have to say below!
The Irish national final EuroSong will be held on Friday 26th January 2024 during a special edition of The Late Late Show, broadcast on both RTÉ One and RTÉ Player, starting at 21:35 GMT/22:35 CET.
What do you think? Is there someone who has what it takes to bring Ireland back to the final? Even bring Ireland a legendary 8th Eurovision victory?
Let us know what you think!
