SVT, the Swedish national broadcaster, have announced their extended coverage for Sámi Grand Prix 2024.

Natalie Carrion will be fronting the expanded coverage of the competition, with Sámi Grand Prix 2024 set to be embraced as part of Melodifestivalen. A pre-programme will be hosted by Natalie Carrion, while the Melodifestivalen app will be used as part of voting in Sámi Grand Prix 2024. It is hoped by integrating Sámi Grand Prix 2024 with Melodifestivalen, more viewers will watch the competition on SVT.

Natalie Carrion had the following to say:

“Until now, it’s a completely different budget and there’s a good group working on this production. I feel confident that we will deliver something of a very high class with respect for the Sámi.”
