RTS, the Serbian national broadcaster, have revealed that they are unlikely to return for the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Olivera Kovacevic, from RTS, has stated that economic reasons are the reason for this absence. Olivera Kovacevic stated:

“The station’s priority is the selection for the Eurovision Song Contest.”
