HRT, the Croatian national broadcaster, have confirmed their non-participation at the 2024 Eurovision Young Musicians, in Bodø.

HRT have yet to reveal the decision behind the non-participation. Croatia have taken part in every edition of the Contest since 1994, with the exception of 1996 and 2000. They were due to host the event in 2020, however the Covid-19 pandemic prevented the event from taking place. Germany became the sixth country to confirm participation on Wednesday, following Belgium, Czechia, France, Norway (host country) and Slovenia.
