
Tonight, the Grand Final of Junior Eurovision Éire was broadcast. Three acts took to the stage with the hope of making the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Nice.
Clare Keeley, Niamh Beatrix Smith and Jessica McKean competed to represent Ireland in Nice. Following a public vote, Jessica McKean will represent Ireland in Nice after performing “Always” & “Hold Me Now”. The winner’s announcement can be seen below:
Guest juror Mickey Joe Harte joined regular jury members Niamh Ní Chróinín and Aindriú de Paor to pass on their opinion. The song that Jessica McKean will be performing in Nice will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Laat year’s Irish representative Sophie Lennon joined Wild Youth, the Irish representative from the Eurovision Song Contest this year, to open the show. You can watch the performance from the Grand Final below:
