
With a new representative selected for Ukraine at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest this weekend, during Festivali i Këngës 61, let’s take a look back at the alumni that they will be joining.
Jonida Maliqi represented Albania at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest, in Tel Aviv, Israel. She participated with “Ktheju tokës”, finishing in 17th place and 90 points.
Albania was due to take part at the cancelled 2020 Eurovision Song Contest, in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Arilena Ara was due to participate with “Fall from the Sky”.
Eugent Bushpepa represented Albania at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest, in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. She participated with “Karma”, finishing in 21st place and 57 points.
Ronela Hajati represented Albania at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest, in Turin, Italy. She participated with “Sekret”, finishing in 12th place in the Semi Final and 58 points.
