As we return to Yerevan for the 20th Junior Eurovision Song Contest this week, we thought we’d look back at the cities that have already hosted the Contest.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam hosted the 2012 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in The Netherlands. The Contest was held at the Heineken Music Hall and was won by Ukraine. Anastasiya Petryk performed “Nebo”, taking victory with 138 points.

Bucharest

Bucharest hosted the 2006 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Romania. The Contest was held at the Sala Polivalentă and was won by Russia. The Tolmaachevy Sisters performed “Vesenniy Jazz”, taking victory with 154 points.

Copenhagen

Copenhagen hosted the 2003 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Denmark. The Contest was held at the Forum Copenhagen and was won by Croatia. Dino Jelusić performed “Ti si moja prva ljubav”, taking victory with 134 points.

Gliwice

Gliwice hosted the 2019 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Poland. The Contest was held at the Gliwice Arena and was won by Poland. Viki Gabor performed “Superhero”, taking victory with 278 points. Ireland was represented by Anna Kearney, who performed “Banshee”. She finished in 12th place with 73 points.

Hasselt

Hasselt hosted the 2005 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Belgium. The Contest was held at the Ethias Arena and was won by Belarus. Ksenia Sitnik performed “My vmeste”, taking victory with 149 points.
