
Over the course of November, on the lead up to the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we will be celebrating the countries that are taking part at the Contest and their Junior Eurovision story so far. Today, we begin France’s story.
France debuted at the 2004 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Lillehammer, Norway. Thomas Pontier participated with “Si on voulait bien”, finishing in 6th place and 78 points.
After a fourteen year wait, France returned to the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Minsk, Belarus. Angélina participated with “Jamais sans toi”, finishing in 2nd place and 203 points.
Carla represented France at the 2019 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Gliwice, Poland. She participated with “Bim bam toi”, finishing in 5th place and 169 points.
