🇳🇱 #JESC22: Remembering Junior Eurovision 2012

Over the course of October and November, on the lead up to the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we will be celebrating the previous editions of the Contest. Today, we celebrate Amsterdam 2012.

On Saturday 1st December 2012, the 10th Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place at the Heineken Music Hall, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The show was hosted by Ewout Genemans and Kim-Lian van der Meij. The Interval Act was provided by All the Participants, Ralf Mackenbach and Kim-Lian van der Meij.

Three countries debuted in Amsterdam – Albania, Azerbaijan and Israel. They joined Armenia, Belarus, Belgium, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Sweden, The Netherlands and Ukraine. Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania and North Macedonia (then known as FYR Macedonia) didn’t return for the 2012 edition.
