It has been revealed by Liverpool City Council that the completed Host City bids must be submitted by Thursday 8th September.
Liverpool, along with the other short-listed cities of Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle and Sheffield now have just over a week to finalise their bids. Following the deadline, a team from the BBC and the European Broadcasting Union will visit each of the bidding cities.
An overall decision on who will host the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest will likely to be announced by the end of September or beginning of October.
