
On Saturday, the 2022 Eurovision Young Musicians will be taking place from Montpellier, in France. On the lead up to the Contest, we will be looking at each of the participating countries. Today we continue with Norway.
Norway debuted at the inaugural Contest – the 1982 Eurovision Young Musicians took place in Manchester, the United Kingdom. Atle Sponberg participated with the Violin, however failed to place in the top three.
Norway have won the Contest once. Eivind Holtsmark Ringstad took victory with the Violin, when the 2012 Eurovision Young Musicians took place in Vienna, Austria.
Norway last participated at the 2018 Eurovision Young Musicians, in Edinburgh, the United Kingdom. Birgitta Elisa Oftestad participated with the Cello, however failed to place in the top three.
Norway will be represented by Alma Serafin Kraggerud on Saturday, when she participates with the Violin in Montpellier.
