On Saturday, the 2022 Eurovision Young Musicians will be taking place from Montpellier, in France. On the lead up to the Contest, we will be looking at each of the participating countries. Today we continue with Croatia.

Croatia debuted at the 1994 Eurovision Young Musicians, which took place in Warsaw, Poland. Ana Vidovic participated with the Guitar, however failed to place in the top three.

Croatia have placed second in the Contest once. Monika Leskovar took second place with the Cello, when the 1998 Eurovision Young Musicians took place in Vienna, Austria.

Croatia last participated at the 2018 Eurovision Young Musicians, in Edinburgh, the United Kingdom. Jan Tominić participated with the Saxophone, however failed to place in the top three.

Croatia will be represented by Ivan Petrović-Poljak on Saturday, when she participates with the Piano in Montpellier.
