RTBF, the French-language Belgian national broadcaster, has confirmed they will host the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, if they were asked too.
This follows the suggestion by the European Union that Brussels should play host to the Contest, as a gesture of solidarity to Ukraine. Jean-Paul Philippot, the General Manager of RTBF, will discuss the possibility with the EBU, at their forthcoming General Assembly next week.
At this moment in time, the EBU have only approached the BBC, the British national broadcaster, in regards to hosting the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.
