ERR, the Estonian national broadcaster, have confirmed that they will not debut at the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Yerevan, Armenia. Liam Clark, ERR’s Press Officer, had the following to say:
“We will not be present in this edition of Junior Eurovision due to financial limitations. Anyway, we are not closed to joining the festival in the future, but not right now.”
Estonia are the only Baltic nation yet to participate at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. ERR however, did broadcast the inaugural Contest back in 2003.
