TRM, the Moldovan national broadcaster, have confirmed they will not be participating at the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Yerevan, Armenia. Moldova have previously participated on four occasions between 2010 & 2013. Vitalie Cojocaru, Press Officer for TRM, had the following to say:

“Thank you very much for your interest in Moldovan participation in the festival. This year we will not return to the competition.”
