Under the new format of Eesti Laul, the first Quarter Final of 2022 has taken place. Three songs were selected by the Televote, with a further two chosen by the Jury. The first five Semi Finalists are:

• Jaagup Tuisk “Kui vaid” – Jury
• Stig Rästa “Interstellar” – Televote
• Maian “Meeletu” – Jury
• Boamadu “Mitte kauaks” – Televote
• Evelin Samuel “Waterfall” – Televote
