
On the lead up to the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is been held in Paris, we are looking back at all the countries to have participated in the Contest and their histories – past and present. Today we continue with Israel’s story.
Israel debuted at the 2012 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Kids.il participated with “Let the Music Win”, finishing in 8th place (their best position) and 68 points.
After a four year wait, Israel returned to the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Valletta, Malta. Shir & Tim participated with “Follow My Heart”, finishing in 15th place and 27 points.
After a two year wait, Israel returned to the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Minsk, Belarus – their last participation to date. Noam Dadon participated with “Children Like These”, finishing in 14th and last place, with 81 points.
