On the lead up to the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is been held in Paris, we are looking back at all the countries to have participated in the Contest and their histories – past and present. Today we continue with Switzerland’s story.

Switzerland debuted at the 2004 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Lillehammer, Norway – their final participation to date. Demis Mirarchi participated with “Birichino”, finishing in 16th place (their best position) and 4 points.
