During the duration of the Paralympic Games, which are been held in Tokyo, we will be taking a look at a different Eurovision country each day. Today we are looking at Azerbaijan’s best Eurovision entry, after they took Bronze in the Men’s 49kg Powerlifting competition.

Azerbaijan have made the Final of the Eurovision Song Contest a total of 12 times. In 2011, when the Contest took place in Dusseldorf, Germany, Azerbaijan achieved their best position to date with a 1st place. Ell & Nikki performed “Running Scared”and achieved a total of 221 points.
