
During the duration of the Olympic Games, which are been held in Tokyo, we will be taking a different Eurovision country each day. Today we are looking at Georgia’s best Eurovision entry, after they took Gold in the Men’s 109kg Weightlifting competition.
Georgia have made the Final of the Eurovision Song Contest a total of 7 times. In 2010, when the Contest took place in Oslo, Norway, Georgia achieved their best position to date with a 9th place. Sopha Nizharadze performed “Shine” and achieved a total of 136 points.
In 2011, when the Contest took place in Dusseldorf, Germany, Georgia achieved another 9th place. Eldrine performed “One More Day” and achieved a total of 110 points.
