
On days when we don’t have matches for UEFA Euro 2020, we will be looking at the Host Cities that have also hosted a Eurovision event – whether it be the Eurovision Song Contest, Junior Eurovision Song Contest or the Eurovision Dance Contest. Today we move on to Munich, where the Allianz Arena is hosting some matches.
1983 – Rudi-Sedlmayer-Halle
The 28th Eurovision Song Contest was held at the Rudi-Sedlmayer-Halle in Munich. The Contest was hosted by Marlene Charell. Corinne Hermès took victory for Luxembourg, with “Si la vie est cadeau”, scoring 142 points.
