Over the course of April and May, on the lead up to the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest, we celebrated the countries that participated in this year’s Contest, in Rotterdam. We are now remembering the countries that had previously participated in the Contest – today we remember Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Bosnia & Herzegovina debuted at the Contest in 1993, in Millstreet, Ireland. Fazla finished in sixteenth place, with her entry “Sva bol svijeta”, scoring 27 points.
The most successful entry from Bosnia & Herzegovina was in 2006, when the Contest took place in Athens, Greece, Hari Mata Hari finished in third place, with their entry “Lejla”, scoring 229 points.
The most recent Bosnia & Herzegovina entry was in 2016, when the Contest took place in Stockholm, Sweden. Dalal & Dean feat. Ana Rucner & Jala finished in eleventh place in the semi final, with her entry “Ljubav je”, scoring 104 points.
