Over the course of April and May, on the lead up to the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest, we celebrated the countries that participated in this year’s Contest, in Rotterdam. Today we start to remember the countries that had previously participated in the Contest – today we remember Andorra.
Andorra debuted at the Contest in 2004, in Istanbul, Turkey. Marta Roure finished in eighteenth place in the semi final, with her entry “Jugarem a estimar-nos”, scoring 12 points.
The most successful entry from Andorra was in 2007, when the Contest took place in Helsinki, Finland, Anonymous finished in twelfth place in the semi final, with their entry “Salvem el món”, scoring 80 points.
The most recent Andorran entry was in 2009, when the Contest took place in Moscow, Russia. Susanne Georgi finished in fifteenth place in the semi final, with her entry “La teva decisió (Get a Life)”, scoring 8 points.
