Further details about Eesti Laul 2021 have been announced by ERR, the Estonian national broadcaster. Interval Acts have been revealed for both the Semi Finals and the Grand Final. Daniel Levi and Curly Strings will provide the Interval entertainment during the Semi Finals, while Mr Lawrence & the Smilers will do the same in the Grand Final.

If a contestant falls ill before the live show due to Coronavirus, their official video will be used in place of a live performance – unlike Melodifestivalen which would use rehearsal footage in the same scenario.

As we have previously reported, there will be no live audience members present – with the exception of the jury and a socially distanced green room. Tomi Rahula, the Eesti Laul Producer, had the following to say:

“It is difficult to get this big bunch of contestants scattered as far apart as possible, but at the same time they must all be together.”
