New Wave Junior 2020 took place last week in Artek, Crimea. Sofia Feskova, this year’s Russian entry at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, finished in 2nd place.

A jury was responsible for choosing the winner – including former Eurovision Song Contest participants Alsou and Philip Kirkorov. Gaia Cauchi, the Maltese winner of the 2013 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, also won New Wave Junior in 2015.
