#ESCAPED: How Slovakia Avoided ‘Nul Points’ In The Grand Final

In this series from Eurovision Ireland, we will be taking a look at the participating countries and their entries that have avoided the dreaded ‘Nul Points’ in the Grand Final – thanks to just one other participating country. Today we look at Slovakia.

1998

In 1998, Slovakia was represented by Katarina Hasprova in Birmingham. “Modlitba” would have been awarded the dreaded Nul Points had it not been for the Croatian Jury awarding Slovakia 8 points. Slovakia finished 21st out of a field of 25.
