Festival di Sanremo have announced a revision in dates for the 2021 festival, following the Coronavirus pandemic. The festival will take place March 2nd – 6th, instead of the traditional first week in February.

RAI, the Italian national broadcaster, have yet to announce whether or not they will be present in Rotterdam. RAI have also yet to announce whether Diodato will have a chance to represent Italy again or whether San Remo will determine their representative.
